The FDI Ergotech open-cuff elbow crutch has an aluminium frame with a special epoxy coating and an anatomical arm support with openings to allow airflow around the arm. The arm support height adjusts to 4 positions, from 22 to 26.7 cm, to accommodate the shape of the user's arm. The ambidextrous handgrip is non-slip and removable, and can be replaced when worn.

The handgrip folds at the press of a button for easier transport and storage. The crutch has an articulated, non-slip ferrule with a metal washer inside to help prevent uneven wear. It is suitable for reducing weight-bearing on the lower limbs in cases of injury or difficulty supporting weight.
