What makes this specialized switch from the Czech Republic different: Like the TP-LINK TL-SG1005P-PD, it is not powered by 220V through an adapter. Instead, it receives power (along with the signal) through the Ethernet Power-In port, that is, from another compatible POE switch or POE injector. This feature is essential when there is no access to a 220V outlet where it will be installed (e.g. outdoors or on a room wall without an outlet, or when you don't want to squeeze in another cable) or when the location is not weatherproof.

I don't have the means to verify whether the maximum power it can deliver to the 4 ports is comparable to that of the TP-LINK. In any case, with its price being less than half that of the latter, it's an excellent buy, although the build quality is naturally inferior (plastic casing). We'll see how it holds up over time.
