The two-component water-based crackle medium is ideal for mosaic breaking techniques or smaller surfaces. It is suitable for application on acrylics and photographs. The product is transparent, and its application involves the following steps:

• Step 1: Apply a uniform layer of primer on the surface and let it dry.
• Step 2: Apply a second uniform layer. Fine cracks will appear as it dries (12-16 hours).

The cracks can be highlighted by passing a aging color such as Cadence Antiquing through them. Allow it to dry for 24 hours and protect it with a solvent-based varnish.
