The Allen & Heath XB2-14 is a specialist analogue broadcast console, designed for radio stations and production studios. It features 4 mono mic/line, 4 dual stereo and 2 telco communications channels, USB connectivity, an audition/clean feed bus, and automatic remote mute functions.

Specialized Broadcast & Telco Architecture

The console includes 4 mono mic/line and 4 dual stereo inputs, as well as 2 telco channels for telephone communication. It features an Audition/clean feed bus for clean signal routing, fader start sensing, and start/cue logic on channel switches for immediate broadcast control.

EQ Processing & 2-Stage Preamplification

It features 3-band EQ on the mono channels and 2-band EQ on the telco/stereo channels for precise sound shaping. The 2-stage preamp design without a pad ensures low noise, while the internal construction with vertically mounted PCBs provides durability for continuous use.

USB Connectivity & Separate Mixes

It is equipped with a USB port for easy connection to a PC or Mac. It lets you create a separate headphone mix for the engineer/producer and 2 guests, and features control room outputs with automatic and remote mute to prevent unwanted feedback.

Balanced Outputs & Signal Routing

It offers balanced main outputs with an insert point, an auxiliary aux bus, and a separate stereo bus for processing or recording. Signal monitoring is easy thanks to the bright level and peak meters, while it weighs 7.5kg.
