The Ajax Systems Protect 2 wireless temperature detector detects high temperatures and rapid temperature increases. It features a built-in siren for audible and visual alarms and can operate independently without a Hub or as part of the Ajax security system.

The siren has a volume of 85 dB at a distance of 3 m. The detector is powered by two replaceable CR123A batteries, with a battery life of up to 7 years, and uses the Jeweller protocol for wireless communication.
