The Ajax Systems Protect 2 temperature detector detects high temperatures and rapid temperature rises, and alerts you with sound and light via its built-in siren. It operates as part of the Ajax security system or independently, without a Hub. The built-in battery lasts up to 10 years and is non-replaceable; after this period, the entire device must be replaced.
