The Ajax Systems Protect 2 standalone temperature detector detects high temperatures and carbon monoxide, and features a built-in siren for audible and visual alerts. It can operate on its own without a Hub or as part of the Ajax security system. The built-in battery lasts up to 10 years and is non-replaceable; after this period, the entire device must be replaced.
