Tight Regular Loose
After 600km of racing use on tough terrain, in Ultra races, vfut, ntr, Terra, Transilvania Ultra etc., I have to say that this shoe is truly the best I have ever worn. It has amazing grip, very good shock absorption, feels like a fast shoe, dries very quickly if it gets wet, and after so many kilometers it doesn't wear out like other Altra shoes. I will definitely buy it again for racing. Its flaw is that because it is 0 drop, at 600km it feels like it now has a negative drop, the material at the back has compressed a lot, but the shoes more than paid for themselves and made me look good.
Έπειτα από 600χλμ αγωνιστικής χρήσης σε σκληρά τερρεν, σε αγώνες Ultra, vfut, ntr, Terra, transilvania ultra κλπ έχω να πω ότι το παπούτσι πραγματικά είναι ότι καλύτερο έχω φορέσει. Έχει φοβερό grip, πολύ καλή απόσβεση των κραδασμών, αίσθηση γρήγορου παπουτσιού, στεγνώσει πολύ γρήγορα αν βραχεί και μετά από τόσα χλμ δεν χαλάει όπως τα υπόλοιπα alta. Σίγουρα αγωνιστικά θα ξανά πάρω. Το ελάττωμα του είναι ότι επειδή είναι 0 drop στα 600χλμ λες και έχει πλέον αρνητικό drop, έχει καθίσει πολύ το υλικό πίσω, αλλά τα παπούτσια τα έβγαλαν τα λεφτά τους με το παραπάνω κι εμένα άσπροπρόσωπο.

Very good move by ALTRA with this new version. Very good shoe. Midsole that provides a faster feel on the trail and a more pronounced rocker that helps with faster paces. Incredible Vibram outsole that has never disappointed me on the mountain even on wet rocks and has held up after crazy abuse (about 600 km including rough terrain and after being retired, daily use). It doesn't have ALTRA's spacious toebox (unfortunately) but even so, the average runner will find it quite comfortable. In the midfoot, it holds quite firmly so even at 29mm, you will find it quite stable without tipping. The only downside is the quality of the outer mesh which showed wear quite quickly. Nevertheless, the sock never showed through because it has another layer inside like fabric. Overall, I would recommend it as an alternative to a more comfortable trail shoe, which is still zero drop but supports faster paces.
Πολύ καλή κίνηση της ALTRA με την νέα αυτή έκδοση. Πολύ καλό παπούτσι. Midsole που χαρίζει μία πιο γρήγορη αίσθηση στο μονοπάτι και πιο έντονο rocker που βοηθάει σε πιο γρήγορους ρυθμούς. Απίστευτος πάτος Vibram που δεν με απογοήτευσε ποτέ στο βουνό ακόμα και σε βρεγμένη πέτρα και έχει δόντια μετά από τρελή ταλαιπωρία (περίπου 600 km συμπεριλαμβανόμενης μαδάρας και μετά τον παροπλισμό του καθημερινή χρήση). Δεν έχει το ευρύχωρο toebox της ALTRA (δυστυχώς) αλλά ακόμα και έτσι ο μέσος δρομέας θα το βρει αρκετά άνετο. Στο μετατάρσιο κρατάει αρκετά στιβαρά οπότε αν και 29mm θα το βρείτε αρκετά σταθερό χωρίς ανατροπή. Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι η ποιότητα του εξωτερικού mesh που έδειξε φθορά αρκετά γρήγορα. Παρόλα αυτά η κάλτσα δεν φάνηκε ποτέ γιατί έχει άλλη μία στρώση εσωτερικά σαν ύφασμα. Γενικά θα το πρότεινα σαν εναλλακτική ενός πιο άνετου trail παπουτσιού, που εξακολουθεί να είναι zero drop αλλά υποστηρίζει γρήγορους ρυθμούς.
