The areas bordering the East and South of Night City form an eclectic mix of different landscapes. With miles of landfills and poisonous atmosphere extending to the city, the ground saturated with chemicals and acidic rains ensures that nothing will ever grow there. Biotechnica's protein farms and the Jackson Plains power station stretch to the South, creating an image of perfect desolation. And of course, there are the Nomads, many of whom attack unsuspecting passersby wandering their paths.
