The DyonStrepA-strip (Group A Streptococcus Ag) is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of Group A Streptococcus antigen in a human pharyngeal swab sample. You can differentiate streptococcal infections from other etiological factors.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS:

• POSITIVE: The test is positive for Group A Streptococcus antigen if 2 colored lines appear. One colored line will appear in the Test Zone (T) and one in the Control Zone (C). This indicates the presence of Group A Streptococcus antigen in the sample.
• NEGATIVE: The test is negative if one colored line appears in the Control Zone (C) and no line appears in the Test Zone (T).
• INVALID: The test is invalid if no line appears in the Control Zone (C) after 10 minutes, even if a colored line has appeared in the Test Zone (T).
