The previous revisions of the 600, 700, and 800 series subwoofers made them larger, and in this latest “f” revision, significant improvements in thermal cooling have been made. The “f” revision subwoofers are specifically designed to provide enhanced thermal transfer.

The dual-stage aluminum heatsink works to transfer heat away from the soft components, into open chambers where the Free-Flow Cooling System pushes cooler ambient air to dissipate this heat.

The increased Xmax and excursion required improvements in the moving system, so taller surrounds have been designed, and the spider has been refined to fully optimize the new motor design.
