Acts by contact and stomach action with preventive and suppressive activity for controlling sucking and chewing insects on various crops.

Application Method:

• Foliage spraying.

Preparation of the spray liquid:

• Fill the spray tank with half the required amount of water.
• Dilute the required dose of the formulation with a small amount of water by stirring and then pour the solution into the spray tank.
• Rinse the empty containers three times.
• Pour the water into the spray tank.
• Top up with the remaining water while continuously stirring.

Instructions for the safe disposal of the plant protection product and packaging:

• The disposal or destruction of the plant protection product should be carried out in incinerators equipped for safe destruction (Temperature > 1200° for at least 2 minutes).
• Packaging materials should be rinsed under pressure with special equipment or triple rinsed (the rinse water is added to the spray liquid).
• Then, after they have been destroyed beforehand by puncturing or slitting, they are deposited at collection points for recycling or energy recovery.

Mode of Action:

Acts on the insect's nervous system by inhibiting the closure of Na+ channels in the axons of nerve cells. This results in continuous neuromuscular transmission of messages, leading to hyperexcitation, paralysis, and death of insects.

Resistance Management:

• Use of cultivation techniques and physical and biological methods to limit insect populations and reduce the number of applications.
• Applications only when necessary based on potential existing economic damage thresholds.
• The formulation should be applied at the recommended doses and in a manner that ensures good and uniform coverage of the leaf surface with the spray liquid.
• Avoid consecutive applications with KARATE 10 CS with Zeon technology.
• Conduct systematic monitoring of pest/target populations to detect early potential resistance development.
• The use of formulations from different groups is necessary in cases of reduced effectiveness.

Phytotoxicity:

It is not phytotoxic in the recommended crops and application rates.
