Description

The “Venturi” injector is used for fertigation. It is made of materials that provide resistance to all the chemical compounds used in modern agriculture and industry. It is reliable and requires no maintenance since there are no moving parts.

Operation: The Venturi is a T-type plastic fitting, connected just like the Bypass fertilizer injector. The difference in pressure between the inlet and outlet of the Venturi creates a vacuum that subsequently creates suction at a small vertical inlet on the Venturi, from which the fertilizer solution enters the Bypass and then into the main pipe. The fertilizer is dissolved in a simple plastic container with water and, through the suction of the Venturi, permeates the irrigation network.

This type of injector has the advantage of providing a consistent amount of fertilization during irrigation, while it is disadvantageous in that it cannot operate at low pressures and small water quantities.

  • Suction Pressure: 0.70 BAR - Inlet Flow Rate: 1,800 Liters per hour
  • Suction Pressure: 1.00 BAR - Inlet Flow Rate: 1,980 Liters per hour
  • Suction Pressure: 1.40 BAR - Inlet Flow Rate: 2,400 Liters per hour
  • Suction Pressure: 1.70 BAR - Inlet Flow Rate: 2,520 Liters per hour
  • Suction Pressure: 2.10 BAR - Inlet Flow Rate: 2,820 Liters per hour

It is necessary to use a mesh or disc filter after the “Venturi” injector to retain particles that may be present in the solution during suction.
