Berling METAL PLUS PRIMER is an alkyd anti-rust primer for metal surfaces, including car chassis, for indoor and outdoor use. It protects metal from rust and withstands moisture, impacts and changing weather conditions. It can be used as a primer or topcoat and provides a base for solvent- or water-based enamel paint.
Apply with a brush, roller or spray gun. The surface must be dry and clean; remove old, peeling paint with sandpaper. Stir well and thin with white spirit by up to 15% by volume. Apply 2 coats to new surfaces and 2–3 coats to previously painted surfaces, allowing 16 hours between coats. Finish with 2 coats of enamel paint.
