So far so good. It hasn’t been more than 12 hours since I installed it and I have to say that compared to the stock AMD cooler, and specifically in Elden Ring, I see a difference of about 30 degrees. I have the R5 7600. From 80-90, it doesn’t go above 60. The reason I rated the noise as moderate is because it doesn’t belong in classes like Noctua, but the noise is definitely not annoying. Practically, it doesn’t bother me at all because the computer is behind the TV and with the game sounds I hear the graphics card more than the cooler.
If anything changes, I’ll update the post.
edit 1: Hogwarts Legacy, which was running at 90C at launch and then hitting 80-90, now doesn’t go above 70C
edit 2: Along with undervolting, for which I found a video on YouTube, I have a score of over 1000 in Cinebench with the R5 7600.
edit 3: I’ve been using it for 2 weeks and haven’t noticed the slightest problem. Combined with the Kolink Observatory HF Mesh case, it’s an extremely budget-friendly solution even for high-end systems in my opinion.
Edit 4 (29/12): It’s now been about 2 months and none of the problems I had with the stock AMD cooler have appeared. In demanding games like Indiana Jones, Hogwarts Legacy, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, I have no issues. The processor reaches up to 60-65 degrees. In my opinion, it’s worth much more than liquid coolers.
Edit 5 (31/1/2025): I use the air conditioner for heating on a daily basis now. The computer is almost under the air conditioner and the warm air blows on it. The processor temperatures DO NOT go up, guys. At most 65 degrees whether I have heating or not (always under load).
Edit 6 (2/10): I just discovered why the cooler’s grid was collecting dust so quickly a few days after I cleaned it. Guys, don’t make the same mistake I did. If the air in your system exits from the back, place the fans so that you see the Arctic sticker on the right fan and not the side that says CE, etc. If your system takes air in from the back, then put them the other way around. The processor temperature dropped 4-5 degrees (from 52 to 47) just from this.
Edit 7 (18/4): It’s been 1.5 years since I installed the cooler and I’m absolutely satisfied. In the summers, when I don’t use the air conditioner much, the temperature gets close to 70 degrees when compiling shaders on the first game launch.
So far so good. Δεν έχει πάνω από 12 ώρες που την εγκατέστησα και έχω να πω ότι σε σύγκριση με τη stock. ψύκτρα της AMD και συγκεκριμένα στο elden ring, βλέπω διάφορα 30 βαθμών περίπου. Έχω τον r5 7600. Από 80 - 90, δεν πάει πάνω από 60. Ο λόγος που έβαλα μέτριο θόρυβο είναι γιατί δεν ανήκει σε κλάσεις όπως η Noctua αλλά σίγουρα δεν είναι ενοχλητικός ο θόρυβος. Πρακτικά δε με ενοχλεί καθόλου γιατί ο υπολογιστής βρίσκεται πίσω από την τηλεόραση και με τους ήχους από τα παιχνίδια ακούω πιο πολύ την κάρτα γραφικών παρά την ψύκτρα
Σε περίπτωση που κάτι αλλάξει, θα ενημερώσω το post.
edit 1 : Το Hogwarts legacy από 90C που έτρεχε στο launch και έπιανε 80-90 μετά τώρα δεν ανεβαίνει πάνω 70C
edit 2: Μαζί με undervolting, για το οποίο βρήκα βίντεο στο youtube, έχω κάτι πάνω από 1000 σκορ στο cinebench με τον r5 7600.
edit 3: 2 εβδομάδες τη χρησιμοποιώ και δεν έχω παρατηρήσει το παραμικρό πρόβλημα. Σε συνδυασμό με το Kolink Observatory HF Mesh κουτί, είναι μία εξαιρετικά budget friendly λύση ακόμα και σε high end συστήματα κατ'εμέ.
Edit 4 (29/12): Έχουν πλέον περάσει περίπου 2 μήνες και δεν έχει εμφανιστεί κανένα από τα προβλήματα που είχα με τη stock AMD ψύκτρα. Σε απαιτητικά παιχνίδια όπως Indiana Jones, Hogwarts Legacy, Assassin's creed mirage δεν έχω κανένα πρόβλημα. Ο επεξεργαστής φτάνει μέχρι 60-65 βαθμούς. Κατ'εμε αξίζει πολύ περισσότερο από υδροψύξεις
Edit 5 (31/1/2025): Χρησιμοποιώ το κλιματιστικό για θέρμανση σε καθημερινή πλέον βάση. Ο υπολογιστής είναι σχεδόν κάτω από το κλιματιστικό και ο ζεστός αέρας φυσάει πάνω του. Οι θερμοκρασίες του επεξεργαστή ΔΕΝ ανεβαίνουν παιδιά. Το πολύ 65 βαθμοί είτε έχω θέρμανση είτε όχι (σε load πάντα)
Edit 6 (2/10): Μόλις ανακάλυψα γιατί το grid της ψύκτρας μάζευε σκόνη τόσο καιρό σκόνη λίγες μέρες αφού το είχα καθαρίσει. Παιδιά μην κάνετε χαζομάρα όπως εγώ. Αν ο αέρας στο σύστημά σας φεύγει από πίσω, βάλτε τα φανάκια ώστε στον δεξί ανεμιστήρα να βλέπετε το αυτοκόλλητο της Arctic και όχι το μέρος που λέει CE κλπ. Αν το σύστημά σας παίρνει αέρα από πίσω τότε βάλτε τα ανάποδα. Η θερμοκρασία του επεξεργαστή έπεσε 4-5 βαθμούς (από 52 σε 47) μόνο με αυτό.
Edit 7 (18/4): Έχει περάσει 1.5 χρόνος από τότε που εγκατέστησα την ψύκτρα και είμαι απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος. Τα καλοκαίρια, που δεν ανάβω πολύ το aircondition, η θερμοκρασία φτάνει κοντά τους 70 βαθμούς όταν κάνει compide τα shaders στην 1η εκκίνηση του παιχνιδιού.
