Description

Fifty years after the fall of the junta, for the first time, all cases of deaths linked to the regime are presented in detail.

Deaths due to anti-dictatorship action, "suicides," "accidents," "illnesses," "disappearances." Deaths resulting from hardships in the exiles and numerous other rumored cases involving both anonymous and named individuals are presented in detail in this long-term, person-centered research.

247 identified cases of deaths for which the regime and its circles were responsible or accused. Over 250 interviews with relatives, 290 photographs, unknown or published records, and testimonies capture for the first time the stories of the victims of the junta, both collectively and individually.

The historical truth seeks its true dimensions within the unspeakable personal testimonies and experiences, in the "small print," and in what has been left in silence. Cases known or hidden in obscurity are investigated, waiting to be justified by historical memory.

With this research, we return to the people that History owes. This was their life and this was their death.
