This code, fully updated until Law 5090/2024, serves as an essential tool for practicing lawyers as it is the only one that includes previous versions of the articles in a clear and functional manner for immediate retrieval and tracking of all changes.

Specifically, the transition from the old Criminal Procedure Code to the new one and its successive amendments raise serious timeless legal issues both at substantive and procedural levels, making it necessary to compare the relevant provisions throughout their historical journey, especially in light of the gradual implementation of the new regulations of Law 5090/2024, which extends until 1.7.2024.

In this work, each article is presented in its most current form (up until Law 5090/2024), and at the same time, previous versions are listed chronologically along with the latest version of the corresponding article of the preceding CPC/1950, with the hope that it will serve as a useful tool for every legal professional.
