Expansion tanks are used to maintain the pressure of the central supply network within acceptable limits. Maintaining pressure is essential:
- to compensate for water losses in the system caused by venting in the radiators or by small leaks.
- to collect the excess water created due to the expansion of water when the temperature increases.
They have been manufactured and tested according to the applicable European Regulation. They are used in water supply circuits. They feature a replaceable EPDM membrane, which prevents contact between the water and the metal walls, keeping the circuit liquid clean.
The connection outlet has a diameter of 1’’. Their maximum operating pressure is 10 bar. Their operating temperature range is -10 to +100oC.
