The goal of most independent crews operating in the Cracked Galaxy is the big success that will ensure them financial security. Such successes are rare, so crews usually take on any job they can find to make quick money. Anyone can sell an alien artifact or a neuroinsertion set, but smart captains know there are many ways to make a profit...

This expansion for Stargrave consists of 40 Side Hustle cards that add variety, depth, and new tactical challenges to wargames in the Cracked Galaxy. Each card presents a specific target... and the rewards for achieving it. Some of these missions need to be revealed, while others are kept secret. Is your crew trying to insert a data virus into a key system? To locate a political prisoner? To reveal evidence of a secret scientific circuit? Every crew wants to gain some loot, but what is your captain's side activity?

To use these cards, players will also need a set of 3 side hustle tokens. These can be crafted or purchased, and their specific appearance is not important, as long as they are immediately recognizable on the table. Players are encouraged to theme them based on the layout of the table they are using. The 3 tokens are:

• Pylon - It can be any type of pylon, obelisk, data tower, or standing stone. It should be between 4" and 6" in height and sit on a base approximately 2" (50.8mm) in diameter.
• Pit - This is essentially a hole in the ground and can be represented by a crate, closed door, entrance, or just a dark circle. It should be approximately 2" (50.8mm) in diameter.
• Destroyed Robot - A destroyed robot, of any construction or design. It should be mounted on a base around 2" (50.8mm) in diameter.
