The new great feature of the MT-5 is the indication function in the telemetry system. The RX-493i is compatible with the indication function. The combined use of the MT-5 and the RX-493i can monitor the signal strength. The indication function can be used to detect issues such as incorrect receiver placement and finding the best receiver position for the transmitter.

The MT-5 is a transmitter for the RF FH5 mode. The RX-493i is a receiver compatible with FH5. The RF FH5 mode has higher resolution than the previous RF FH4 mode. Additionally, the MT-5 features SUR (SANWA ULTRA RESPONSE) mode, which is faster than the SSR (SANWA SUPER RESPONSE) mode that was installed on the MT-44. The combination of FH5 RF mode and SUR mode will provide an excellent sense of smoothness.

Compatible receivers include RX-491, RX-492, RX-493, and RX-493i. (Receivers compatible with FH3 and FH4 such as RX-38*, 45*, 46*, 47*, and 48* cannot be used with the MT-5.)
