The Eaton Network-M3 network card connects compatible UPS systems and PDUs to the network, enabling remote management and monitoring. It supports Gigabit Ethernet connections and communication protocols for transmitting alerts and data. Secure boot verifies the authenticity of the connected firmware.

When used with a compatible UPS system or PDU, it enables features such as safe shutdown, restarting connected devices, and monitoring electrical data, self-test logs, and alerts. Alerts can be sent via email or SMS. Secure email delivery via SMTP is supported, along with integration with Google Workspace and Office 365. The card works with Brightlayer Data Centers Suite management software and can be monitored using Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
