Description

The Tour-X5 is a redesigned helmet. As with everything from Arai, every improvement is made with protection as a priority. And this new model brings you closer and closer to the ideal Arai shape for protection. It's time for a new adventure with the brand new Tour-X5.

VAS-A System

One of the biggest changes is the visor system and its shield. The new visor system VAS-A is designed to maximize Glancing-Off performance and facilitates the transition, without tools, to one of the other styles. You can choose between Adventure, Off-road, and On-road.

Super Fibre Shell

It uses Arai's Super Fibre Shell construction, which is said to have 40% greater strength than regular glass fibers, partly due to its much finer threads and unique resin. It also features Arai's peripheral belt that reinforces the area around the visor opening. Like all Arai helmets, this is an incredibly strong outer shell.

Good airflow

The ventilation on the Arai Tour-X5 is excellent, with a two-position vent and a closed chin that directs air upwards to the back of the visor and towards the forehead. It also features an internal slider to allow air to blow directly into the mouth, if desired.

The forehead has the open or closed vent with the Arai logo that first appeared on the Arai Quantic, which provides very good airflow to the head and along it.

Additional features

It is designed to accommodate an aftermarket intercom of your choice thanks to a flat section on the sides that provides ample space to stick it on.

Typically, the speakers are placed on the cheeks of the Arai, but now there are ready-made recesses behind them, making installation much easier and causing much less hassle when removing the lining for cleaning.
