The Hoya ProND EX 8 72mm filter reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 3 stops. When shooting video outdoors, you can adjust your shutter speeds to match your frame rate while maintaining the desired depth of field. When photographing moving subjects, you can achieve a motion blur that makes the image appear more cinematic. In photography applications, the filter allows you to use longer exposures or achieve shallow depth of field in bright sunlight.

The ProND EX 8 filter utilizes Hoya's ACCU-ND technology to prevent color shift, delivering consistent image quality. The ACCU-ND technology ensures equal light reduction across both visible and IR spectra, so you won't experience color change when shooting under various outdoor conditions. The filter features a 67mm thread on both sides (front and back). Additional ND filters can be stacked on the front, or you can attach a lens thread or another filter.
