Eighteen mythical heroines –goddesses and mortals, nymphs of the woods and the seas, and one witch– take up the thread of the fairy tale, one after the other, and tell stories of battles and loves, fateful encounters and captivities, courage and altruism, betrayal and forgiveness.

At the same time, we observe them in moments of action or milestone snapshots of their lives, to discover the roles they played, willingly or unwillingly, in two of the oldest, most thrilling, and beloved mythical adventures of the world: the Iliad and the Odyssey.
