The reverse osmosis membrane, with a pore size of 0.0001 microns and a capacity of 50 GPD, is the fourth filtration stage.

Water passes through five stages: the first, 5-micron polypropylene filter traps particles of silt, sand and rust, while the reverse osmosis membrane removes contaminants. The process also includes final filtration with activated carbon and enrichment with calcium and magnesium.
