This is the first cast iron pan I am using, so I don't have any particular experience. As soon as I got it, I washed it well, did 2-3 layers of seasoning, and it's just fine, cooks nicely, doesn't stick. Just a small observation. Because its diameter is larger than the diameter of the burner (ceramic hob), the points that touch the hob differ from those that don't. So if you put water to boil, you can see exactly where the burner is because that's where it forms bubbles, while around it, it doesn't. I don't know if it's a problem or not.

Regular seasoning renewal, a good wipe before storage, and I believe it will last many years. I use it on induction cooktops and gas with excellent results. Keep in mind that cast iron is not exactly a non-stick pan; the seasoning makes it almost non-stick. Over time, with continuous seasoning renewals and getting used to the material, the non-stick ability becomes more apparent. Of course, never use cold water on hot cast iron because it is a material that can crack that way.

Λάβετε υπόψι σας ότι το μαντέμι δεν είναι ακριβώς αντικολλητικό τηγάνι, το seasoning το κάνει σχεδόν αντικολλητικό. με τον καιρό, τις συνεχεις ανανεώσεις seasoning και την εξοικείωση με το υλικό, η αντικολλητική ικανότητα φαίνεται περισσότερο. Φυσικά ποτέ κρύο νερό σε καυτό μαντέμι γιατί είναι υλικό που μπορεί να ραγισει έτσι.
