With the Grimsholm heat-shrink connector for cables, you can create waterproof joints in your perimeter installation. It features melting solder that creates a secure connection combined with double adhesive seals on each side of the connection, providing good connectivity and high insulation against moisture.
The connector contains a 200 mm extension with Premium HD cable. This, combined with its waterproof properties, makes the coupling easy to use, replacing a damaged section of the existing signal cable up to 200 mm in length, allowing for connection with minimal resistance.
A heat-shrink tube is also included, providing additional protection.
The connection coupling requires the use of heat to melt the solder as well as to shrink the surrounding insulation. Suitable equipment includes a heat gun, a lighter, or something similar.
