The review was made today, which is also the first day of purchase. I will give the 5th star if after 6 months it continues to be as efficient as today.
So far, excellent, it lasts 4 hours of simple use, better than the original when the laptop was new.

    - It arrived relatively quickly at 38 euros, the original costs around 90 euros to replace the factory battery of the laptop which had 20% capacity and the laptop would shut down even with simple word use after 5 minutes. Since mid-2025 it had the problem, eventually I opened the laptop for cleaning and thermal paste replacement and saw that it had dangerously swollen, as it was manufactured in May 2019.
A swollen lithium battery is considered dangerous as, apart from the fact that it can explode and cause major damage and injury, even if it does not explode, it presses on the trackpad and the motherboard (and on smartphones, the screen) and will certainly cause problems capable of destroying your laptop or smartphone respectively. When replacing, special care is needed not to puncture it with a screwdriver or tweezers as it will explode on the spot.
If you don't know what you are doing, it's better to go to a technician because if the battery is punctured you will end up in the hospital with burns.
    Recycle the old battery immediately.

    - The new battery was immediately recognized by HP Diagnostics on an HP 250 G7 (i5 8265U/16GB) with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC, while it is manufactured in October 2025, and HWmonitor shows 41040mWh with 0% wear level.
    - Calibration is needed as is logical for every new battery, which can be done either through HP's application or by using the laptop until it shuts down completely without entering save mode. When it shuts down, press the power on for 5 seconds so that the capacitors discharge and then, while it is off, charge it continuously without interruption for about 5 hours. Then disconnect the cable and repeat the same about 3-5 times for calibration so the battery gives its true capacity. For better battery health, use it from 90% to 20% and place the laptop on a stand with a fan to keep the laptop temperature low or at least have airflow. NEVER on a blanket or always plugged in.
