The Sinus-1600 24V voltage converter is used to power electrical devices that require 230V alternating current from batteries and car installations with a 24V constant voltage. It can also be successfully used as an emergency source for devices that require continuous power supply, such as burners and CO pumps.
The distinguishing feature of sinus converters compared to classic aligned AC/DC converters is the production of alternating voltage with a sinusoidal curve that is similar to that of the electrical grid. This allows the powering of devices equipped with electric motors and transformers, such as power tools, pumps, and low-power devices.
Simple and cheap converters actually produce voltage with a rectangular curve, which is sometimes mistakenly called "modified sine wave." This voltage is not suitable for powering inductive or capacitive devices and can cause damage to them.
