  • Excellent for occasional use. I wanted a printer to make only a few prints per month, and the all-in-one printer I had kept clogging with dried ink because of the low usage. Also important to me was that it support scanning to a network folder (SMB) so I could scan documents directly to my NAS. The setup was easy and trouble-free for me. I enabled Bluetooth on the printer, downloaded the app on my iPhone, did add device, it found the printer and transferred the WiFi settings to it (it supports only 2.4GHz WiFi), and that was it. I have not connected it with USB. For printing directly from the phone, the iPhone sees it via AirPrint. The same with the Mac Mini, it saw the printer without me doing anything. On the PC you do the classic process, Add Printer, it found it, installed the driver, and it was ready there too. For network scanning now, I went into the printer menu via its IP from the web, in SMB I made an entry and entered the NAS IP, the name of the folder it will send to, username and password, and that was ready too. Now we just have to see whether it will cause any problem, but so far it is exactly what I wanted.

Unfortunately, it broke on the first day. Apparently, it was defective from the company.
