    I’ve been trying for a while to move away from Elixir and have been trying various string sets for that reason. These ones initially have a very nice character, a warm sound with clarity in the low mids. However, after two live shows, the strings sound so dull as if they had been on the guitar for a year. In other words, they have zero lifespan. If you want to buy Daddario, it’s better to choose the cheaper sets from this company; they are definitely more honest.
