The Baofeng BF-UV9R two-way radio operates on UHF/VHF bands and supports communication in outdoor and remote areas where the mobile phone signal is weak. Communication is established by tuning the devices to the same frequency. The range depends on the terrain and obstacles between the devices.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Users generally consider it a good, reliable choice for the price, with easy operation and clear transmission. They also mention its many features and satisfactory battery life, while some find it sturdy and comfortable to hold. However, signal performance may be inadequate in challenging or mountainous areas, and the instructions don’t provide enough help with setting frequencies.
For the money, it is very good, it just needs a better explanation in the brochure; if you don't have any knowledge, you won't be able to set your own frequencies.

I just received the machine... I will conduct tests and get back to you. It is a bit awkward with the button that opens and adjusts the volume because it has something like a protective cover on the side.. it is a sturdy machine and comfortable in the hand. I didn't like the belt clip in its application so I haven't put it on for now.
Very nice wireless, worth its money with many capabilities. I use it in the mountains, the only thing that bothered me a little is that it doesn't have a second larger antenna and you will have to buy one because the factory one doesn't hold a good signal in the mountains. Waterproof in general, worth their money
