The order was made for a package of "Santorini tomatoes", but due to my mistake, I received Italian cherry tomatoes of the principe borghese variety. I planted them anyway to try them out, and while everything was going well at first, they suddenly withered after 3 weeks without me changing anything in their care. I suspect fungus - this particular variety does not belong to the category of VF tomatoes.
*Edit (30/6/2021): I would like to inform that it was my mistake that caused the cherry tomatoes to wither. I changed the soil and pots for testing purposes, and to some extent, they recovered.
Η παραγγελία έγινε για συσκευασία "τομάτας Σαντορίνης", αλλά λόγω λάθους μου ήρθαν τοματίνια Ιταλίας της ποικιλίας principe borghese. Τα έβαλα όπως και να 'χει για να τα δοκιμάσω, και ενώ στην αρχή όλα πήγαιναν καλά, ξαφνικά μαράθηκαν μετά από 3 βδομάδες χωρίς να αλλάξω απολύτως τίποτα στη φροντίδα τους. Υποψιάζομαι μύκητες - η συγκεκριμένη ποικιλία δεν ανήκει στην κατηγορία των τομάτων VF.
*Επεξεργασία (30/6/2021): Θα ήθελα να ενημερώσω ότι από δικό μου λάθος μαράθηκαν τα τοματίνια. Άλλαξα δοκιμαστικά χώμα και γλάστρες, και ως ένα βαθμό επανέκαμψαν.
