Mercola Aqua surface varnish is a water-based acrylic wood varnish suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is odourless, easy to apply and highly elastic. It contains UV filters to protect against ultraviolet radiation and is water-repellent. It is used to protect, maintain and renew wooden surfaces such as doors, windows, frames, wood panelling, furniture and cabinets.
Apply to dry surfaces free from oil and dust. To prepare new surfaces, fill imperfections with wood filler and prime knots with shellac. On previously varnished surfaces, remove the old varnish, then sand and clean the surface. Apply with a brush, roller or spray gun, and thin with clean water.
