The Ajax WaterStop Black 1/2″ motorized water shut-off valve can operate as part of an Ajax security system or independently, without a Hub. When connected to a Hub, it supports automatic water supply control scenarios, such as in response to an alarm from a LeaksProtect detector, according to a schedule or a change in security mode, as well as when a LightSwitch switch or button is pressed and based on temperature. Without a Hub, it does not support scenarios or remote control via the Ajax app.

The water supply is shut off in up to 5 seconds. The four replaceable CR123A batteries provide up to 3 years of operation.
