Drill made of cast metal in gold-black color, constructed from high-speed steel 4341 HSS, coated with a layer of TiN (titanium nitride). The drill conforms to the DIN 338 standard. It features a cylindrical, roll handle that allows the use of a drill with a larger diameter than the range of the handle's application.
Designed for creating perforations and blind holes, it has two centrally ground cutting edges at an angle of 135° and flutes that effectively remove chips upwards through the hole. Drills coated with TiN are specifically intended for processing hard materials.
The use of the TiN coating increases the hardness of the drill, accelerates the cutting process, and allows for better quality of the processed components. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction force, decreases blade wear and thus extends the life of the drill.
