Drills made of gold-black colored metal constructed from high-speed steel 4341 HSS, coated with a layer of TiN (titanium nitride). The drills conform to DIN 338 standards. They feature a cylindrical shank and are designed to create holes and blind holes. They have two centrally ground flutes at a 135° angle and grooves that effectively evacuate chips upward through the hole.
TIN-coated drills are particularly suitable for machining hard-to-cut materials. The use of the TiN coating increases the hardness of the drill, accelerates the cutting process, and allows for better quality in the machined components. The titanium nitride layer, due to its reduced friction force, decreases blade wear and consequently extends the lifespan of the drill.
The drills have been packaged in a plastic container with a hole for hanging.
