The high fashion company FURLA was founded in 1927 in Bologna, Italy by Aldo Furlanetto. It initially started as a wholesale fashion goods company and then in 1955 opened its first retail store in Bologna, which operates to this day.
In the 1970s, the baton was taken by the family's children, who launched the first collection of leather bags featuring the company's logo. The bags became wildly popular, and FURLA continued to release new products and expand its name both within Italy and beyond its borders.
In the early 1990s, FURLA began opening stores in various countries around the world, such as Japan, the USA, Spain, and others. Currently, FURLA distributes its products in 63 countries with over 300 boutiques worldwide!
In 2012, the company opened its flagship store in Bangkok, Thailand and started its expansion into Asia, beginning the distribution of products in China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
