Kit with an easy squeeze bottle system that allows for the cleaning of nasal passages while keeping the head in an upright position.

Benefits

  • Pre-packaged USP grade sodium chloride & sodium bicarbonate packets (purity level 99% or higher).
  • Specially designed bottle that empties almost 95% in an upright position.
  • The kit includes 1 bottle, 1 cap, 10 packets, and an informational leaflet.

Suitable for use in:

  • Nasal allergies, dryness, and fever.
  • Sinus pressure & nasal sensation.
  • Nasal symptoms from flu and cold.
  • Nasal irritation from occupational & household dust, fumes, pet dander, grass, pollen, smoke, etc.
  • Post-nasal drip and nasal congestion.

Instructions for use

  • Wash your hands.
  • Fill the clean bottle with the specified volume of either distilled, micro-filtered (through a 0.2 micron filter), commercially bottled, or previously boiled lukewarm water.
  • Always use the bottle with NeiLMed Sinus Rinse packets.
  • Rinsing your nasal passages with plain water without the mixture will result in a severe burning sensation, as plain water is not physiologic for nasal cleansing, even if it is suitable for drinking.
  • Additionally, for your safety, do not use tap water to dissolve the mixture unless it has been previously boiled for five minutes or more as boiling sterilizes the water.
  • Other options are distilled, micro-filtered (up to 0.2 micron), commercially bottled, or, as previously mentioned, boiled water at lukewarm or body temperature.
  • Cut the Sinus Rinse mixture packet at the corner and pour its contents into the bottle.
  • Tighten the cap and tube onto the bottle securely.
  • Place a finger over the tip of the cap and gently shake the bottle to dissolve the mixture.
  • Standing in front of the sink, bend forward to your comfort level and tilt your head downward.
  • Keeping your mouth open, without holding your breath, place the cap snugly against your nasal passage.
  • Gently squeeze the bottle until the solution starts draining from the opposite nostril. Some of the solution may drain from your mouth.
  • For a proper rinse, continue to gently squeeze the bottle until at least 60 mL to 120 mL of the bottle is used.
  • Do not swallow the solution.
