The AXAGON ADSA-FP2A adapter connects 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs to a computer via USB-A. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 with transfer speeds of up to 5 Gb/s, as well as SATA III, SATA II, and SATA I. Plug & Play enables automatic connection, while Hot Plug supports connecting the device while it is powered on.
It supports UASP and BOT for data transfer, TRIM to limit the gradual decline in SSD performance, and S.M.A.R.T. for monitoring drive health. It also allows you to boot a computer from a connected drive, automatically puts the drive into sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity, and powers it off when the device is disconnected or the computer enters sleep mode. The integrated USB-A cable is 20 cm long, and power is supplied via the USB port. The indicator light stays on when USB power is available and flashes during data transfer.
