He jumped out of bed, shaken. He had just closed yet another door with that familiar bang that had now been imprinted in his mind, causing him fear and at the same time a strange sense of sadness that overwhelmed him.

Every night, he closed his eyes and entered that mysterious world, and over time he knew he was becoming a part of it - he was getting lost within it. He didn't understand and that frightened him. He was frightened that every time he opened his eyes, he felt that shiver run through his whole body.

Because everything seemed so real that it would now be difficult to distinguish reality from imagination.
