This book aims to fill a gap in the Greek literature on cultural and creative industries.

By attempting a detailed analysis of the economic characteristics of the culture and creativity sectors in Greece and outlining the main pillars of foreign language literature, the book introduces the reader to theoretical examples of cultural and creative industries, as well as to the dominant policies that exist to support them.

At the same time, the book highlights the issue of uneven cultural development observed between Athens and the other Greek cities and examines the geographical concentrations of creative industries in Athens.
