Description

The black parade shoes are the first collection of short stories by Vaggelis Provia. Stories of pain, frustrations, but also hope, about the illness of the body and mind, stories about the chained sexual identity and its refuges, stories about sensitivity in a world that seems to consider it a weakness.

Stories that reach their best when they attempt to X-ray the small dramas of everyday life. "The passersby look at him with curiosity, smile sweetly at him, and some women make tender nods with their heads. How beautiful: a forty-year-old man who is moved by the student parade of October 28th in the city center."

Review this product
  • I read the book in a few days and I would highly recommend it to other short story enthusiasts. I happen to personally know the author, and it felt like I was listening to him narrate his stories. It may come across as somewhat melancholic to some, but it is the real life portrayed in a wonderful way.
