For the first time, a significant portion of Greek poetry is gathered and published in a single collection. The content of the books is original and includes a biography/works biography of the poet in question, as well as a rich anthology of their poems with an emphasis not only on the most famous but also on the most indicative of their development as a poet.

The series consists of 14 volumes and will present the life and work of 12 of our most important poets. "Kathimerini", in order to secure the rights for the most recent and well-edited editions of the poems, collaborated with the leading publishing houses in Greek literature: Ikaros, Estia, Nefeli, Kedros, and Agra, as well as with the most esteemed scholars of the poets' work.

The first series of Greek poetry includes: Konstantinos Kavafis, Kostis Palamas, Angelos Sikelianos, Giorgos Seferis (2 volumes), Dionysios Solomos, Manolis Anagnostakis, Andreas Embirikos, Kostas Varnalis, Kiki Dimoula, Nikos Engonopoulos, Yiannis Ritsos (2 volumes), and Kostas Karyotakis. Each volume will be accompanied by a CD with audio excerpts, where the poet or their scholar recites passages from their work.
