The Fuego is the most famous choice of reel with Mag sealed technology from Daiwa. The sealed head using magnetic oil makes the Fuego resistant to waves and sand. The mag sealed technology keeps the head bearing and the anti-reverse mechanism always dry and clean, ensuring excellent operation. Even in wading fishing, where the reel may come into contact with water, the Fuego performs flawlessly.

Its six bearings and air drive technology make the Fuego silent during operation. The body and rotor material is Zaion V carbon, a Daiwa patent, making it impervious to salt.

The handle is a one-piece aluminum and screws onto the main gear, ensuring smooth rotation without play. In the feather category models (1000-2000), the Fuego has no competition!

    Excellent machine from Daiwa. I've had it for 1 year, using it intensively (2-3 and 4 times a week for sure). Very strong mechanism with a buttery smooth operation in all aspects (even how the pick-up opens and closes). Wonderful linear brakes with a strong enough sound to be heard and keep in touch with them even in conditions with strong wind or general noise. 5/5 clearly recommended without reservation.
