The new ITX is dressed in its full carbon suit and is more beautiful than ever! OKUMA used 100% carbon for the construction of the ITX, thus reducing its weight while simultaneously increasing its resistance to seawater.

Its rotor is made from carbon c 40x designed with CFR air flow technology, removing any moisture present in the head area while keeping the head bearing and the anti-reverse of the mechanism dry, while also providing an extremely smooth operation.

The new spool is 30% lighter than the old one, thereby reducing the overall weight of the mechanism, while functioning better with less drag since its rotation is not affected by its weight.

  • Hydro Block gasket (disk waterproofing system)

OKUMA used a new 7075 aluminum alloy for the construction of the shaft.
