When you are in nature, it is often useful to have a light source to mark your position or illuminate an area when providing first aid.

Chemical light sticks are designed with the above purpose. The Glow chemical light stick is a light source made from a plastic container that contains two isolated liquids which, once combined, produce a glow. It operates without electricity. To activate the light, simply bend the plastic container until the capsule is crushed.

The brightness is activated by bending the stick. Its applications are almost limitless and it can also function underwater.
