The TK-Fine Vario L mechanical pencil is ideal for writing and precision drawing. It features a soft/hard lead mechanism. In the soft position, the lead is spring-loaded for writing. In the hard position, the lead is rigid for precise drawing with a ruler. The mechanical pencil has a metal grip with a hardness indication at the tip. The PVC-free eraser is elongated. The mechanical pencil comes with 3 ultra-polymer HB grade leads. The lead can of course be fully retracted. Other leads in various hardness grades are available separately.
