It should be emphasized that Konstantinos Svolopoulos was the first to systematically engage with this subject, producing a remarkable body of work in both volume and quality, and contributed to the long-term academic establishment of this prominent Greek politician.
Konstantinos Svolopoulos's new book contains thirteen studies on Eleftherios Venizelos and his era. It chronologically covers his political activity from the early years of his tenure in Crete to the later period of his life in the 1930s.
Once again, the findings and observations are structured on cross-verified and unbiased study of the sources, both published and unpublished. Consistent rules are followed that separate historical events from contemporary developments and promote, without biases and exclusions, the understanding of figures and events under the circumstances of that time.
