Autobahn is an economic strategy game about building the German highway system over three time periods spanning from the end of World War II to the present day. At the end of the second period (1990), Unification opens up opportunities for further network expansion. As a director in the BundesAutobahn Organization, you are responsible for managing and developing the German Federal Highway System.

In addition to building roads, you will be responsible for facilitating the transport of goods and constructing fuel stations. As you contribute to the network's development, you will earn positions on the boards of each highway and increase your budget at the start of each period. During the game, your board members will be promoted to more prestigious positions, offering victory points at the end of the game.

Plan ahead to optimize your efficiency. Every contribution you make builds your reputation and earns you access to new sections and scoring opportunities. The cards in your hand allow you to take actions on one of the 7 main Autobahns. You will need to carefully plan and time your actions before you need to collect your cards back.
